We switch on YOUR schedule. We understand that rail transportation must fit around many other complex operations functions within your facility. Our team is available to accommodate your unique scheduling requirements to ensure your rail service needs are met with minimal disruption. Such scheduling requirements may include multiple shifts, multiple crews, and emergency call-in coverage.

No locomotive? No problem. We work with quality suppliers to integrate locomotives or railcar movers into a complete railcar switching solution.

Our in-house recruitment, training, and oversight programs for railcar switching have been developed and refined over several years.

 

Each employee receives a copy of our Safety and Operating Rulebook that they are trained and tested on to ensure competency. The training is reinforced annually through in-person safety and operating rules training.

Each employee receives extensive on-the-job training for their specific job duties. Training progress is documented to identify areas for improvement. Once qualified, each locomotive operator receives an annual supervisor ride-along (“Check Ride”) to verify safe operating practices.

 

We employ the latest in electronic communications technology. Our radio system can be set up for analog or digital transmission including encryption. It is also equipped with noise-cancellation technology and built intrinsically safe to enable our crews to work safely in a wide variety of environments.

As an added layer of safety, our radios are equipped with a "man-down" feature to alert fellow team members to a fall or emergency situation.

We adhere to strict safety standards and protocols to minimize risks and ensure the well-being of our team and your assets. Our team undergoes pre-employment background checks and drug screening. Further, we maintain a drug and alcohol-free workplace and maintain a post-accident testing program.
